Legal
Terms of use
Last updated: 4 November 2026
These terms apply to your use of the website yae.digital. By using the website, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the website.
They don’t cover the yae product itself. If your organisation runs a pilot or subscribes to yae, the agreement we sign with you applies to that, and takes priority over these terms if the two ever conflict.
1. About us
- Full name and legal status: AB & Friends Group (Pty) Ltd, a private company registered in South Africa, trading as yae
- Registration number: 2025/956901/07
- Location: Plumstead, Cape Town, South Africa
- Email: hello@yae.digital
- Website: yae.digital
2. Information on this website
The website describes yae and how it works. yae is currently offered through pilots, and features may change as the product develops. We work to keep the website accurate, but it may contain errors or be out of date. Nothing on the website is an offer that can be accepted to form a contract: a pilot or subscription only starts once we’ve both confirmed it in writing.
3. Prices
Prices on the website are for information. They may be shown in the currency for where you are, and they may change. The price you pay, including VAT where it applies, is the one in your written agreement with us or shown when you subscribe. How cancellation and refunds work for paid plans is set out in our refund and cancellation policy.
4. Using the website
You may use the website to learn about yae and to contact us. You must not:
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, our systems or other people’s information;
- disrupt the website, overload it, or introduce malicious code;
- send us false, misleading or automated messages;
- copy content from the website in bulk, or use it to build mailing lists.
If you find a security issue, please tell us privately at hello@yae.digital rather than testing it further. We’ll reply within 1–3 working days.
5. Our content and trademarks
The website’s content, design, the yae name and the yae logo belong to AB & Friends Group (Pty) Ltd or the people who licensed them to us. You may view and print pages for your own use or for internal use at your organisation. Any other use needs our written permission.
Other names on the website, such as those of AI products, software tools and programmes, belong to their owners. We use them only to say that yae can work with those products (for example through MCP or an API), or that we take part in those programmes. It doesn’t mean their owners endorse yae or that we have a partnership with them.
6. Links to other websites
The website may link to websites we don’t control. We aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
7. Our responsibility to you
We provide the website “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t give any warranty that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose, and we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have, or any liability we have, that can’t be limited by law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies to you.
8. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information collected through the website.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. If a dispute can’t be resolved by talking to us first, the courts of South Africa will have jurisdiction.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the website after a change, the updated terms apply.
